Grip Dolly for Small Places

Postby LizaTrainer on Mon Apr 04, 2005 4:50 am

We need to be able to make what looks like a grip dolly for shots in small

places, like the bathroom, kitchen hallways, and this looks like it will do just fine
outside to. I used an ironingboard, some wood PVC

and guidewheels from a boat trailor, the ironingboard can go up or down to the height you want, and the
rig rolls along the PVC pretty good, I

made it out of wood just to get the bugs out of it, but I'm going to have a machine shop put the wheels on a lathe and make the rest out of

aluminum so it will be a tight and right rig.
When it's done, total cost, now $45.00, I think the upgrade one will be around $200.00 pro made.

You can get the wheels here. http://www.overtons.com/modperl/product ... /-Hardware

Hey you guys I

would like to get your input on this the more and more I see liza's work the more it amazes me the stuff she can make out of nothing is just

unreal and then I had an idea for any of you who have ever seen the show MONSTER HOUSE. This is a show where they take a house and remodel it but

give it monster effects I think Liza would be the perfect person to design a MONSTER HOUSE!!!
What do you guys think?????

Liza, Do you have any footage we could see? I'm looking to build a dolly and I was wondering how much weight those

"wheels" could hold. Also, how much did the wheels cost? I think a full-sized dolly with the same wheels would be awesome
