Mars Robot.

Making a life size robot at home is a real blast, I like useing kids toy cars so I have half the game whopted from the start.

They come with everthing you need, ya just got to add what you want.

This one is for the play Beware The Eyes Of Mars, it will need to go forwards and back and have a person in it to make it go.

Once I get the body on it I will have a serious mess on my hands, making a head and arms flashing lights, and figure out how to make them move.

Well this is as far as I got to day, and I will stay on it all night.

If you ever wanted to make a Sci Fi this is a realy cheap way to make a robot at home.

They allways look funny in the beginning, the big yellow one in this clip was made in a real similar way, but it was raido controled.

This one will have a person in it.

You don't know the half of it, we have a blast here, we have set fires in the kitchen, blown things up in the viewing room, and run a chain saw from room to room chasing some poor new guy.

Here are some detailed shots that show how to keep the tires from rubing, you need to make shure you have enough clearance.

I'm starting to reinforce the uper frame now.

If you look at the first pics you can see how I mounted the wood on to the rear axle this way it can suport all the weight.

Ahhhh I rember it well, lol.

I think I found some realy cool parts to get that old robot feel.

I love modern stuff, so this is not my thing, but here go's. :roll:

This will be Flight Comfort Unit, "Phobos" (named after one of Mar's moons).
It is basically a butler serving alien passengers cocktails on a cruise ship in outer space!
